7 Harry Potter Fan Films and Where to find Them

    Image result for Potterverse

The flagship Harry Potter feature films officially ended their 10-year run in 2011 with David Yates' The Deathly Hallows Part 2, and the world is still mourning the passing of an era.

Sure the Potterheads are ready for more and the Potterverse is resurrected, when Fantastic Beast and where to find them exhibited some of the old magic in 2016. Fans have been creating transformative work within the Harry Potter universe since the very beginning, While they vary in quality they bring something interesting to our beloved Potterverse.

Here is my list of 7 Harry Potter Fan-made films which are worth watching and my give answers to some of the plot holes in the most loved harry potter films.

    1. Voldemort - Origins of the Heir

The film tells the story of Tom Marvolo Riddle, aka Lord Voldemort, from the perspective of the Heir of Gryffindor, the woman providing the voiceover in the trailer. Voldemort: Origin of the Heir proves that there is interest in learning more about this iconic character, particularly what the heck happened to his nose.

    2. The Greater Good

The Fantastic Beasts prequel partially revolves around the relationship between Dumbledore and Grindelwald, two of the most powerful wizards of all time who took two very different paths. But before they moved their frenemy-ship to the world-wide scale, they were just two kids in Godric's Hollow.

    3. Severus Snape and the Marauders

Severus Snape and the Marauders tells the story of the iconic Marauders-era characters shortly after their graduation from Hogwarts from the perspective of Snape, who we know from the books was bullied by James and his cohorts.
With incredible production values and a great script, Severus Snape and the Marauders may just be the best Harry Potter fan film out there — the kind of fan production that shows just how much narrative potential this world has when in the right hands.

    4. Mischief Managed

Most fan films have an endearing, yet distracting awkwardness to them. Not Mischief Managed, a Marauders-set fan film from Foregone Films, that manages to make the world of James, Lily, and their friends feel lived in.

    5. Son of the Moon
During the first wizarding war, Remus Lupin comes face to face with an old foe.

    6. Neville Longbottom and the Black Witch

Bellatrix Lestrange will stop at nothing until she finds the Dark Lord... While the tragic bravery of Harry Potter’s family is widely known throughout the Wizarding World, there is another story of the same such courage that remains untold. Until now. Neville Longbottom and The Black Witch is the story of the Longbottom’s confrontation with Voldemort’s most devoted servant: Bellatrix Lestrange.

    7. Lily Evans and the Stroke of Midnight

It’s the final year at Hogwarts for Lily Evans and her friends. Between books and boys, they find themselves defending their friends against an unlikely enemy. When lines are drawn, it’s not so clear who is right and who is wrong.
